Hurrdat Sports Bar & Grill is now the new name for Hail Varsity Club – and Omaha’s one-of-a-kind restaurant will celebrate its relaunch with exclusive deals and events beginning Monday, Aug. 28. The week culminates with the season’s first Husker Football Watch Party on Thursday, Aug. 31.
Hurrdat Sports Bar & Grill will be closed Tuesday, Aug. 22 – Sunday, Aug. 27, for renovations.
Upon reopening on Monday, Aug. 28, Hurrdat Sports Bar & Grill will feature an upgraded sound system and a reimagined menu, in addition to new branding and décor elements to complement a 360-degree viewing experience that includes a state-of-the-art, 22-foot projector screen, and more than 30 HDTVs. Hurrdat Sports Bar & Grill is the home of Nebraska’s first in-restaurant live recording studio, which will continue to host an exciting lineup of radio shows, podcasts, meet-and-greets, and exclusive events.

Reopening Week – Monday, Aug. 28
Throughout the week, Hurrdat Sports Bar and Grill will have programming to celebrate all sports in Nebraska.
Monday/Tuesday: Two live podcasts each night through the Hurrdat Sports network will preview the Husker season, take an in-depth look at high school matchups, celebrate Volleyball Day in Nebraska, and give listeners an edge in their upcoming fantasy football drafts.
Wednesday: A Watch Party for Volleyball Day in Nebraska features signature drinks and an enjoyable entertainment experience while all the day’s games are showcased in the restaurant.
Husker Football Watch Party – Thursday, Aug. 31
Hurrdat Sports Bar & Grill will celebrate the kickoff to the 2023 Husker football season with an epic watch party event on Thursday, Aug. 31, for local fans to enjoy an experience like no other. The restaurant will feature signature drinks, a special game day menu, and several can’t-miss surprises.
Hurrdat Sports Bar & Grill has a revamped menu. Throughout the week, Monday-Sunday will have daily specials featuring each new item, allowing guests to try their elevated take on sports bar favorites.
